Why it is heavy

Loopback, not fleece

Most hoodies at this price are brushed inside, which feels soft in the shop and goes flat in four washes. This one is loopback: the inside face is a loop of the same yarn, so it keeps its weight, keeps its shape at the cuff and gets better once the first wash has taken the stiffness out of it.

We buy the cloth in one run a year and cut until it is gone. When a colour sells out it stays out until the next run, and the date goes on the card rather than a vague line about restocking.

When will it arrive and what does it cost?

At £78 the basket is already over £60, so UK delivery is free and tracked, 2–3 working days. Next-day is £8.50 with a 14:00 cut-off. Collection from Berry Street is ready in two hours, Tuesday to Saturday.

What if the size is wrong?

Send it back inside thirty days with the tags on and the paper label that came in the box. We pay the postage. Tell us the size you want instead and we will put it aside while the first one is in transit.

Will it shrink?

The cloth is pre-shrunk, so the body stays put. Expect about a centimetre off the sleeve over the first year if you wash it hot — at 30° and line dried it holds its measurements.

Can I have it printed with my own artwork?

Yes, from ten pieces up, one or two colours, screen printed by a shop two streets away. Send us the file and the sizes and we will come back with a price and a date within two working days.

My colour is not listed — is it coming back?

Fog, rust and sand are the three we keep. Anything else was a one-run colour and will not return. Sold-out lines across the shop keep their price and carry a dated return — the Six-Panel Cap is back on 14 November.
