Unit 4 · Berry Street · Wolverhampton

Two people,
one room

Kerbcut Supply has been open since March 2016. It is Dev Sandhu and Róisín Keeley, a till, a workbench and a rail with twelve things on it. We grip decks, we hem pants, and we answer the phone ourselves.

The whole policy

If we would not
ride it, it is not here

That is the entire buying process. No targets, no margin ladder, no line we are told to push this quarter.

Since 2016

Same unit, same two people, same rail. The only thing that has grown is the queue on a Saturday.

Inside the unit

A shop you can walk round in ninety seconds

Four metres by nine, a workbench along the back, a kettle that has outlived three vans. There is no stockroom, which means there is no hidden second rail and no "let me check out the back". What you see on the wall is what the shop owns.

Being that small decides everything else. We cannot carry forty hoodies, so we carry one and we make it the heaviest thing we can afford. We cannot stock nine deck widths, so we stock two and tell you honestly which one suits your feet.

How it got here

Four moments, none of them a funding round.

  1. 2016

    The lease

A damp unit behind the ring road, taken because the rent was £310 a month and the floor was already concrete.

  2. 2019

    The bench

Grip fitting goes free, forever. It costs us ninety seconds and it is the reason half the regulars started coming.

  3. 2023

    The hoodie

First run of 450 gsm loopback, 180 pieces, sold out in nine weeks. It has been the anchor of the rail since.

  4. 2026

    Twelve things

We cut the list down on purpose. Fewer lines, deeper sizes, and a dated return on everything that sells out.

“Asked for a deck that would survive a car park and got asked my shoe size, my weight and how often I bail. Ended up with the 8.5. Four months in and the nose is still square.”

Marcus O.Verified · Kerbstone Deck

“The hoodie is genuinely heavy, which I did not expect for £78. Sized down on their advice and it is the only thing I have worn since October. The returns label was in the box; I did not need it.”

Priya N.Verified · Heavyweight Hoodie

“Three stars only because the cap I wanted was out for six weeks. They gave me the date, held one when it landed and did not pretend it was coming sooner. Would rather that than a guess.”
